OFDA, InstallNET International and ANEW Announce New Partnership

LOS ANGELES, CA – [October 27, 2008] – The Office Furniture Dealers Alliance, the InstallNet International network of independent installation companies and the Asset Network for Education Worldwide (ANEW), a non-profit organization whose mission is to practice Social Sustainability® by connecting surplus furniture and materials with those who can use it while reducing environmental impact, have announced a new partnership by which the three organizations will work together to benefit their respective members, customers and communities nationwide.

The partnership was announced at InstallNET’s annual Service Providers Conference in Dallas earlier this month.

Under the partnership, OFDA will en courage exhibitors at its upcoming Dealer Strategies Conference and Expo in New Orleans November 12-14, to support the conference theme, “Think Globally-Act Locally,” by donating their office furniture and expo products after the expo to charitable organizations in the New Orleans area.

InstallNet and ANEW will coordinate efforts to identify suitable recipients of those donations and arrange for their delivery and installation.

In addition, InstallNET announced it will hold its next annual Service Providers Conference in conjunction with the 2009 OFDA Dealer Strategies Conference and Expo, which will take place October 3-6 in Austin, Texas.

“There are some tremendous synergies to be gained for both the dealer community and our independent installers by OFDA and InstallNET working together and we are looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship between our organizations,” commented InstallNET CEO Dale Ewing.

Mark Eley, OFDA’s Chairman and CEO of ID&A, a prominent office furniture dealership in Kentucky and Tennessee, said “We are delighted that InstallNET is partnering with ANEW and OFDA in conjunction with our annual conference and expo as the first step in a closer working relationship among our members. Through this local initiative, we our meeting the special needs of the New Orleans non-profit community, while also contributing to our industry’s goal of improved environmental stewardship.”

ANEW and InstallNET together provide turnkey services that include responsible furniture stewardship, corporate social responsibility while sparing the environment. According to Tourje, ANEW supports the design and architectural industry by providing documentation for use toward USGBC LEED Certification.
